Real people said...
-
Ray LiggetI really thought Norm was very clear in the instructions. Simplified things.
-
Tracey SandstromCONFIDENCE Riding over logs, attack position & smoother lines.
-
Beth MeadesI thoroughly enjoyed the day and thought it was pitched at exactly the right level. Thank you
-
Mike DugdaleI enjoyed it so much, such a buzz afterwards. I really came away feeling that my riding ability has gone from being a passenger to being able to have some skills to build on.I am now ready to have a good go at Marriners and try feel alot more confidant about the Forrest 6 hour. Thanks to Liz for being a great teacher, she really made it alot of fun, which it should be. I'll be back for more. Mike.
-
Stewart LewisThe course is conducted in light hearted and encouraging vein. We were given plenty of opportunity to practice each new technical challenge. There was plenty of opportunities to push the envelope later in the day with a range of technical challeges.
-
Ashley BleekerReally enjoyed the course and I'm now telling all the guys that we (road) ride with (who dabble in mtb to differing degrees) how good it would be for all of them to come down and spend a day with you.

Brad Powels
Just sending you this email to let you know I raced round 2 of the Vic XC series on the weekend. After our training session the other day I went away and re assessed my race strategy.
-
Julia GunnLots! Fundamentals which were crucial for me. Gained lots of confidence to try things I wouldn't have previously considered. Had an absolute ball.
-
Stella LaceySafety first - basic checks, navigating slight downhill in attack position, a switchback, drop, built up log, roots/drop combo, single log, up hill/rocks combo and "THE DOWNHILL"!!!! Oh yeah and that Norm has had heaps of practice catching riders mid fall - sorry Norm you had some more practice at the 02 Aug clinic!!!!
-
Ben CultonJess, Norm and the rest of the gang run their courses in a friendly and entertaining way. A perfect way to spend a day learning new skills or refining the ones you already have.
-
Emma GilmourThe clininc was everything I was hoping it would be and more. I don't have anything to suggest to make it better. The group sizes were perfect, the instructors lovely, the atmosphere was relaxed and fun and most of all it increased my enjoyment of mountain biking. i can't wait to get back out there.
-
Tim AndrewsI was a relative newby so I learnt a lot. Particularly appreciated the helping hand on handling steep ascents and descents and climbing logs.
-
Justin SchoonenemanWhat a fantastic experience. Normally rainy days keep me at home, but the skills clinic had me clearing obstacles and railing berms with a new found confidence in the rain and mud. A great way to learn new skills and get off the couch! A must do for any rider
-
David McPhersonLearnt heaps - correct techniques for jumping, crosiing the lareg log/obstacles, ways to conserve energy & ride smoother & more in control (Important for me !), & generally increased riding confidence
-
Tracey SandstromCONFIDENCE Riding over logs, attack position & smoother lines.
-
Scott CollisI learn a variety of things, some of them direct (how to launch and maintain a controlled trajectory) and some of them kinaesthetic which need to bed in a bit more... (ie I need to get out and ride...)
-
Wil StrackleYou know, I have never said this after a thing like this but I reckon you\'ve pretty much got this down perfectly.
-
Natayla Gordon-Thompsonvery well executed, felt safe, supported challenged and encouraged. lots of fun!
-
Chloe MillerThe course was well worth doing! I can ride a bike confidently, but needed help with my technique for mtb. Now I feel confident enough to tackle small obstacles that I didn't think I could do! Thanks for such an awesome day!
-
Brian PaynterI learnt an enormous amount on the day. The real value came however on the day after when I went back to the track for a ride. I was comfortable performing most of the techniques learnt, negotiated obstacles I was previously having trouble with and even 'ruled the rock garden'. My enjoyment has lifted to new levels.
