Race Development Squad

Official Start date 1st July 2008

Purpose:

To promote Mountain biking to all ages, genders and abilities.
To eliminate non participation by removing factors such as fear, assisting where possible with finances to pay for race entries etc, creating supportive friendships and teams and giving participants a vehicle to add purpose and function to their addiction to mountain biking.

How do I join?

Firstly you must meet the following criteria…

  • You must love mountain biking
  • You must have completed at least a Beginner level course with MTBSkills.com.au
  • You are keen to either RACE, Participate or work towards entering MTB events/races of any level
  • You don’t mind sharing your time on the bike with other like minded people, be willing to assist others where possible and be open to being part of a “team orientated” environment

Already we have enrolments from current and past MTB skills participants. If you are considering this option to enhance and improve your racing through this concept, please send back your forms now.
Payment is not required until 1st July where we will send all members this notification.

We do feel it is important to initially limit the Race Development Squad membership until we have been operational for a few months and members (and us) have our goals and dates for events sorted.
If at this stage you are unsure, register your interest anyway and we can put you on a waiting list and get in contact with you later in the year.
