Ilana BurtonHad a great time, good student to teacher ratio, nothing I can think of improve the clinics
-
Sandra Connorget off the seat more and why it can be more effective to use a higher gear on uphill corners rather than just spinning through. How to ride safely on very steep descents (with arms locked out, using shoulders to turn). I could already ride the terrain, but I felt that many of the tips and ideas Jess shared are going to help me ride faster and look better when I'm doing it!
-
Andrew McCallumHow to tackle rocky uphills and how to approach/navigate dropoffs. Looking for 'A' lines and 'the path not always ridden'
-
Fran BullenHow to tackle a corner while going down a small hill, so as not to feel afraid of going too fast and coming off.
-
Peter McWatersI really thought the whole day was run very well. The intros were excellent, a great icebreaker and Norm's instruction was top notch. I think you are doing a wonderful job.
-
George MattarGreat instructor knowledge and nice to be able to learn from someone genuinely willing to teach! Thanks Norm.
-
Jarrod StonhamSmoother riding over log rolls, holding speed through corners and climbing technical sections and rock gardens properly
-
Ashley BleekerReally enjoyed the course and I'm now telling all the guys that we (road) ride with (who dabble in mtb to differing degrees) how good it would be for all of them to come down and spend a day with you.
-
David McPhersonLearnt heaps - correct techniques for jumping, crosiing the lareg log/obstacles, ways to conserve energy & ride smoother & more in control (Important for me !), & generally increased riding confidence
-
Nick KennAdam was a great teacher and ensured everyone felt confident with their riding by the end so there was nothing that I would change

Dave Blair
I found the course very good and learnt lots, now all I have to do is practice! Norm explained what he wanted us to do in a way that was easy to understand. We all had as many runs through each section as we needed without any pressure to move on until we were ready. If you want to pick up new skills or improve those you have I think the course is well worth doing.

"I learnt many things, but the two most important: to concentrate on the course, not boys' bums in front of me; and watch out for black boys - they're tough little things!"
-
Ben CultonJess, Norm and the rest of the gang run their courses in a friendly and entertaining way. A perfect way to spend a day learning new skills or refining the ones you already have.
-
Lance CupidoA fantastic day of technique refinement, with some fear conquering on the side, all washed down with some of the finest singletrack in the country. The small group sizes and the intructors engaging style made for a thoroughly challenging day that was also laugh out loud funny.
-
Stephanie ColemanI had a really fun day, thanks heaps guys. The all girls environment was great. Am hoping to further improve, definitely keen to do another course with you. Cheers!
-
Scott CollisI learn a variety of things, some of them direct (how to launch and maintain a controlled trajectory) and some of them kinaesthetic which need to bed in a bit more... (ie I need to get out and ride...)
-
Christine TranI had a great ride and really enjoyed the challenges of the day. I learnt a lot about technique and also about how much fun mtb-ing can be. Thanks!
-
Beth MeadesI thoroughly enjoyed the day and thought it was pitched at exactly the right level. Thank you
-
Lianne DaviesThe clinic was great, with great instruction and the company of other women as scared as me but just wanting to give it a go, no pressure, Thanks

Matt WhiteLooks where I'm going, rather than where I am. Stop & think/review the tracks I'm riding. Weighting & unweighting techniques reinforced. Have more faith in grip of tyres on rocks. Push down with arms while cornering to improve grip. I have a mental issue with the rock berm on boulder track, which I want to overcome.

Would you like to improve your Mountain Bike Skills? Become a more confident and safer rider? Then read on.
We are Mountain Bike riders who have developed a simple yet very effective course and set of techniques that will bring out the best in your riding ability.
Your experience level can vary, but generally you have probably ridden a little before and maybe even ride quite a bit, however like many riders before you, you didn''t grow up on a bike and perhaps missed out on many of those most fundamental skills that an effective Mountain Biker needs. We also encourage those riders that are VERY confident on a bike, who want to take that next step, and learn how to go faster, smoother and with less effort... just like the pros do.
All you need is a roadworthy mountain bike, a helmet and the willingness to learn. Our instructors are NOT prima donas, but rather good teachers who love to ride, just like we hope you do too!
Some of our longer duration courses also include an introduction to basic Mountain Bike mechanics, where we will show you how to keep your bike going. The 1/2 day sessions cover a simple check to do before every ride as PREVENTION. We also have provided you with a checklist to ensure you attend with your equipment in working order.
Have you dreamed of riding better? Do you want to start racing, or do you want to step up a level? Come and do one of our camps and you will have a ball with like minded cyclists and learn a thing or two.
Our instructors are qualified and love teaching.
