The pace of the course was good and so was Liz
  • Neill Pert
The camp was brilliant. Lives up to all the descriptions in everyway, and I am a much happier rider because of it
  • Clare Pearce
The camp met all of my expectations - I received fantastic coaching (Adam is a legend - he is so encouraging and patient with the beginners), i met great girls to ride and enter races with, had fabulous food and challenged myself to get better and more confident at riding. It is fantastic to be surrounded by a group of people (all the MTB Skills crew) who are so passionate about riding, and also encourage women to participate in a largely male dominated and challenging sport.

Some new skills - looking around corners, weighting & unweighting & feathering brakes.
  • Dave Blair

I found the course very good and learnt lots, now all I have to do is practice! Norm explained what he wanted us to do in a way that was easy to understand. We all had as many runs through each section as we needed without any pressure to move on until we were ready. If you want to pick up new skills or improve those you have I think the course is well worth doing.

Improving these clinics would be hard, this one was very well run and thoroughly enjoyable and as I told Norm at the end of the day, I could not turn the pedals any more if I tried but I had learned a lot - this was perfect.
  • Julia Gunn
Lots! Fundamentals which were crucial for me. Gained lots of confidence to try things I wouldn't have previously considered. Had an absolute ball.
  • Kate Maffett
Smoother log riding, how to ride the little ones faster, improved trail finesse on slow, roll-y obstacles; that I like to jump off things; norm's a great instructor!
  • Andrew McCallum
How to tackle rocky uphills and how to approach/navigate dropoffs. Looking for 'A' lines and 'the path not always ridden'
  • Karl Leiminger
Clinic was great, excellent instructor, great knowledge of track, helpful comments, already a first class clinic
  • Susan Weymouth
I really enjoyed it, I thought I picked the right group for my ability.I will go out now and practice, the lollies were good too. Thanks for a good day.

Jess, Norm and the rest of the gang run their courses in a friendly and entertaining way. A perfect way to spend a day learning new skills or refining the ones you already have.
  • Christine Tran
I had a great ride and really enjoyed the challenges of the day. I learnt a lot about technique and also about how much fun mtb-ing can be. Thanks!

How to tackle a corner while going down a small hill, so as not to feel afraid of going too fast and coming off.
  • Aaron Fennell
    Great course, definite confidence booster
  • Jodie Arnott
The course was superbly and professionally organised, with encouraging, knowledgeable instructors. It was inclusive of all levels, and as such really developed my confidence and skills. Thank you for a great day, I'll be back for another course soon

Would you like to improve your Mountain Bike Skills? Become a more confident and safer rider? Then read on.

We are Mountain Bike riders who have developed a simple yet very effective course and set of techniques that will bring out the best in your riding ability.

Technique Vs SkillAt MTBSkills.com.au we fully recognise the difference between SKILL and TECHNIQUE. And in order to develop skill, you MUST be shown the correct technique.

Your experience level can vary, but generally you have probably ridden a little before and maybe even ride quite a bit, however like many riders before you, you didn''t grow up on a bike and perhaps missed out on many of those most fundamental skills that an effective Mountain Biker needs. We also encourage those riders that are VERY confident on a bike, who want to take that next step, and learn how to go faster, smoother and with less effort... just like the pros do.

All you need is a roadworthy mountain bike, a helmet and the willingness to learn. Our instructors are NOT prima donas, but rather good teachers who love to ride, just like we hope you do too!

Some of our longer duration courses also include an introduction to basic Mountain Bike mechanics, where we will show you how to keep your bike going. The 1/2 day sessions cover a simple check to do before every ride as PREVENTION. We also have provided you with a checklist to ensure you attend with your equipment in working order.

Have you dreamed of riding better? Do you want to start racing, or do you want to step up a level? Come and do one of our camps and you will have a ball with like minded cyclists and learn a thing or two.

Our instructors are qualified and love teaching.

...but we don't stop there, can we help you with any of these?
