Annie SimmsI just wanted to send you a quick note to say a huge thank you for 1) the great skills day course on 18th Oct and 2) your fantastic enthusiasm and encouragement at the Surf Coast on Saturday. I had SO much fun on that course and it is in large part due to the things you taught me the previous weekend. I felt confident at every point on the course and so enjoyed the whole thing far more than I would have just a few weeks ago! My favourtie tip, "Keep off the Front Brake!" made all those corners…Read more...

Stacey LawrenceI learnt basic techniques and body awareness (where my body is and where it should be). I also learnt that I am not that crap. This may sound like a weird thing to learn but I have been reluctant to join a riding group in Vic. with people that I don?t know because of the potential embarrassment factor. Up until now, I have been meeting with friends from Canberra to ride, which doesn?t happen often enough to build fitness and skills. But now I am keen to get stuck into MTB riding and join a group and maybe even build…Read more...

Just a quick note to say thanks - and well done! You have found a great niche in the market for a professionally run program, and are doing it extremely well. You have a winning formula - stick with it.
I found the day highly motivating. We laughed, we cried (from the laughter - not from the crashes) and we learnt a lot! Adam is a great instructor who guided us through the day brilliantly.

Josh MilesImproving these clinics would be hard, this one was very well run and thoroughly enjoyable and as I told Norm at the end of the day, I could not turn the pedals any more if I tried but I had learned a lot - this was perfect.Read more...

Bin Dixon-WardI learned Heaps! The biggest was to slow down, get the technique right and not to hammer down out of control! So for me this means, attack position, pushing forward on steep drops, unweighting over logs and step ups and bum back.Read more...

Matt WhiteLooks where I'm going, rather than where I am. Stop & think/review the tracks I'm riding. Weighting & unweighting techniques reinforced. Have more faith in grip of tyres on rocks. Push down with arms while cornering to improve grip. I have a mental issue with the rock berm on boulder track, which I want to overcome.Read more...

Karen SutherlandHow to (correctly) get over an obstacle instead of the usual just shoving the bike towards it and hoping for the best! I hadn't realised I was doing so much 'wrong' or rather that I really didn't know the basics, so great to learn them and good that Norm told us that even elite riders sometimes don't have this knowledge - puts it in perspective. It was a really well-thought out day - very enjoyable!Read more...

Carolina AlvearYes I have learnt so much because I was a real beginner and the course has made me more enthusiastic to continue with MTB riding.Read more...

Sandra Connorget off the seat more and why it can be more effective to use a higher gear on uphill corners rather than just spinning through. How to ride safely on very steep descents (with arms locked out, using shoulders to turn). I could already ride the terrain, but I felt that many of the tips and ideas Jess shared are going to help me ride faster and look better when I'm doing it!Read more...
